EYFS Home Learning
To assist your Home Learning, please find below a list of resources, which we in school are using during this period of Emergency Childcare. Please use these to dip in and out of, and to use alongside the Home Learning Packs that were sent home with all children.
Class teachers are all available to be contacted via Tapestry. We will be using this for communication between parents and teachers during this time. If you do not have your Tapestry log in, please contact the school office and we can supply you with the information you need.
Our Daily Timetable Suggestion for at School and at Home
Below is a timetable that we are following in school to support home learning. We encourage you use this as a guideline for structuring your home learning.
Below are links to a number of websites which will enable you to find resources and a bank of ideas of activities you can do with your children when they are at home.
The activities include PowerPoints and interactive games which children can complete using a tablet or computer. These include labelling parts of the body, playing counting games, exploring rhyming words, and practising reading tricky words, reading stories together, playing on a virtual piano and learning about internet safety with Buddy the Dog. There are also activity ideas for you to read and complete with your child. These include practising fine motor skills by drawing lines and patterns, making shaving foam rain clouds, making and cooking a pitta bread pizza, singing songs and Nursery Rhymes and writing CVC words. The resource also includes suggestions for other follow-up activities.
