A concerned parent has brought to our attention this afternoon, the increasing number of parents who are waiting for their child by standing in the middle of the road. I recognise the difficulties that the end of day arrangements have for parents maintaining the essential social distance, but in order to have family collections at the same time and within the shortest total time slot possible for over 260 pupils, I am afraid we are going to have to work together to keep ourselves safe in these difficult times. We absolutely need to use both exits so please could I very kindly ask that we make every effort to stand on the paths and only move forward when your child comes down to the gate. For each slot there is a 10 minute window so please do not feel you must be there for the start. If I could do this in any other way I would, but we have to follow the guidance and keep your children and the staff as safe as we can so we can remain open for all as long as possible.
