Message from the Fire Station and a weather update23 September 2020 (by clare.moulding) |
Good afternoon,
Parking:
I received a phone call this morning from Cleckheaton Fire Station asking me to remind all parents to be very careful when parking your cars at the beginning and end of the day. On Monday afternoon a fire engine struggled to get past the parked cars on Nova Lane having just finished at a call out - this could mean the difference between life and death in some awful situations. If I could please ask you to ensure your parking will always allow emergency vehicles through as in a major emergency they would just push the car out of the way - I would hate you to return to a damaged vehicle. Thank you.
Weather Forecast:
Rain is forecast for the next few days and therefore it is ESSENTIAL that all pupils wear a coat when they come to school. There have been a number of pupils that have not brought one today. Please can you also make sure the children have appropriate footwear for wet weather - not pumps when it is wet as they end up with wet socks and wet feet all day! Black school shoes are much better.
Kind Regards
Mrs Clare Moulding
