Risk Assessment Updates24 September 2020 (by clare.moulding) |
Good evening Parents /Carers,
It is very important that we continue to regularly review and update our risk assessment and ensure it is working in the very best way to keep all as safe as possible. In light of the latest review we have made some changes:
Changes to the end of day procedures, now a 10 minute time slot for collecting pupils according to surnames or provider to support parents in social distancing;
We have also noticed some pupils are struggling with the amount of hand washing and the learning time is also being affected by the time it is taking - especially for the larger KS2 classes so we have sourced and purchased foam hand sanitizer that is suitable for pupils and staff to use. This will now be available in all classrooms and used before and after breaks and after lunchtime playing outside with hand washing at the normal times of arrival to school, before lunch, when they have been to the toilet and before they leave at the end of the day. We will now monitor how successful this is over the next couple of weeks.
I have updated the School Risk Assessment and uploaded the updated version to the website under the policies tab.
With kind regards
Mrs Clare Moulding (Headteacher)
