Deadline for High School applications5 October 2020 (by clare.moulding) |
Good afternoon,
I would like to remind all parents of children in Class 6 that the deadline for applications to High School is fast approaching - Saturday 31st October. We currently have only 9 families that have made any preferences for the High School they would like for their child in September 2021. It is really important that you make as many preferences as you can and that this is completed BEFORE the deadline otherwise your preferences will be looked at once all other preferences have been allocated to all pupils in Year 6 across Kirklees. This means it would be extremely unlikely for you to be allocated any of the preferences you make.
I know that making these choices is a very important step in the next part of your child's learning journey, please remember we are here to support you. You can of course contact Mrs Walker through the Class Dojo if you need to have any discussions with regard to High Schools or the process itself.
With kind regards
Mrs Clare Moulding (Headteacher)
