National Lockdown but school is OPEN4 November 2020 (by clare.moulding) |
Good evening Parents/Carers,
I hope you are all as well as possible in these ever changing times.
As we move into a National Lockdown tomorrow, I wanted to send a message to reassure you that school will continue to function in the same way as we have since September. We are confident that we have created a happy, learning environment for our pupils that is as safe as we can possibly make it. With staff wearing face coverings whenever they are out of their class bubble and lots of hand washing / sanitizing and cleaning.
The only slight adaptation from tomorrow is that I ask you to make every effort to ensure you are wearing your own face covering when dropping off or collecting your child/children, you ONLY arrive within your 10 minute allocated time and NOT early (please stay in your car or walk very slowly) or late and that only one person is there to bring or collect to reduce numbers as much as we can. Remaining at social distance and not staying to socialise and talk to other parents.
As always we are here to offer support if it is needed, please do not hesitate to ring or email. If you find your circumstances change and want some advice please ring or email - you may become eligible to apply for Free School Meals for your children, even for just the four week period.
Thank you for working with us and please continue to send your children to school - we have such a lovely, happy school we certainly do not want them missing out on more education and the opportunity to be with their friends and our super staff.
With kind regards always
Mrs Clare Moulding
Headteacher
