Update for Parents and Carers12 November 2020 (by clare.moulding) |
Good afternoon Parents/Carers,
I wanted to update all Parents and Carers, as I am sure you will have noticed my absence from the school gates at the beginning and end of the day for the last week.
Due to a serious and rare auto-immune condition that I unfortunately live with, I am classed as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable and as such I received a shielding letter from the government at the end of last week (having already shielded in the first lockdown) meaning that for the next few weeks I need to work from home in order to keep myself as safe as possible.
I have not taken this decision lightly and have been in in constant communication with school staff and our governing body. I am still leading the school but this is remotely through virtual meetings and constant communication through telephone calls. I am in regular contact with all staff and governors and will continue to communicate with yourselves mainly through the School APP. Individual communication with families will be through email.
In the meantime, Miss Smith (Deputy Head) and the leadership team in school will be your first port of call if you need to contact someone other than your child’s class teacher through the Class Dojo. If you need to contact myself, please let the office know and I will make every effort to get in touch. I look forward to being back in school as soon as possible on December 3rd when the current shielding program comes to an end. Please stay safe and do all you can to continue to keep our school as safe as possible, by following the national restrictions and school procedures.
With kind regards
Mrs Clare Moulding
