FALSE information5 January 2021 (by clare.moulding) |
Good morning,
Very disappointingly, it has been brought to my attention that there has been false and misleading information put on some of the parent Whatsapp groups since the announcement yesterday. Can I please reassure you that the first time I knew we would have to close was at 8pm last night, like yourselves, when our Prime Minister announced to the whole country. The DFE sent their first communication regarding the school closures at 1:30am this morning, having assured us over the weekend that we must open to all pupils this week. The staff, governors and I are working incredibly hard to ensure every decision and arrangement we make has the children's best interests as heart, as we have done throughout the pandemic, whilst ensuring the safest possible environment for all.
Please bare with us whilst we ensure we do this process fairly for all, including the new members of our school community who have joined since September.
With kind regards
Mrs Clare Moulding
