School Closed Tuesday 2nd February2 February 2021 (by clare.moulding) |
Good morning everyone,
The decision has been made in agreement with our Chair of Governors that school will be closed today for health and safety reasons. The roads around school are not passable with heavy snow having fallen overnight and is still falling in many places. The weather is forecast to snow until lunch and the temperature such that it is unlikely to thaw quickly either. We do not want staff or families trying to travel to school and having accidents either in their car or walking which would mean they need to go to hospital. This would ultimately cause an already pressured NHS to be even worse. All learning, for ALL pupils will be online through our TEAMs platform today. I will send out a message later regarding the decision for tomorrow. Please stay home and stay safe.
With kind regards
Mrs Clare Moulding (Headteacher)
