Legal Duty to isolate following positive cases in school

9 April 2021 (by clare.moulding)

Good morning,

I hope you are all well.

I am very disappointed to say, it has been brought to my attention this morning, that some families are not ensuing their child in Class 5 are maintaining the legal isolation following a positive case in their class and have been seen out in the community. I have also just found out  that another pupil has just tested positive yesterday and so I feel it is essential to highlight that the isolation period is a legal duty and vitally important to keep others safe. You MUST make sure your child, if in Year 2, Year 4 or Year 5 remains in isolation at home, until Sunday 11th April, even if they are not displaying any symptoms.

PLEASE maintain the isolation period in order to reduce the likelihood of any further transmission.

Kind regards

Mrs Clare Moulding
