Good afternoon,
If your child is a football fan and likely to be staying up very late on Sunday to watch the final of the Euros, then let them stay in bed a little longer on Monday morning and please get them to school for 10:00am. We would rather our pupils are in school, ready to learn than absent or grumpy!!! The staggered start will be as normal but as long as your child arrives by 10am they will not be registered as late on Monday 12th July only.
It’s 55 years since England reached a final so let them watch and experience the excitement – I certainly will be! Talk to them about the importance of the National Anthem, talk about hope, pride and resilience. A great opportunity to see the virtues in action in our everyday life!
