Good afternoon Parents/Carers,
I would like to inform all Year 5 parents that we have been made aware of a positive pupil LFD test today in Class 5 and are now awaiting a confirmatory PCR test result.
The class will remain open and you can choose to send pupils into school tomorrow whilst we await the result. If the result of the PCR is positive, following our Health and Safety Risk Assessment we will close the class and move to remote learning until the end of term. This is following the latest advice from Kirklees and in line with Government Guidance to Headteachers, "to continue with existing measures until the end of term" - please refer to the letter from Mel Meggs (Director of Children's Services).
If you choose to keep you child at home whilst we await the result and complete the remote learning it will be noted as isolation on the register. I will be in touch again as soon as I have any further information.
