Important safety information for parents13 October 2021 (by clare.moulding) |
Good morning,
It has been brought to my attention that some of our older pupils have, at playtime, been discussing and role playing some of the content of a new Netflix series - 'The Squid Game' which is classified as 15 years and older. I felt I needed to make you aware of the content of the new series, in case your child is watching it without you realising the extreme violence which is in it. I know that there are clips and other information appearing on TikTok and other social media sites that children may have access to outside of school. I have added a website link for 'National Online Safety' website as in the news section it has information for parents so that you can make sure your child remains safe and is not negatively impacted by the content. Please take some time to have a look at the website and information - it is a super website for parents to be able to keep children safe online.
Kind regards
Mrs Clare Moulding
