Changes to the beginning and end of the school day12 June 2023 (by Emily Gott (emily.gott)) |
Good afternoon,
We are excited to announce that we are working in partnership with PPG Paints who have applied for and been successful in receiving a community grant to work with our school. This means that over the next few weeks and into the Summer, PPG Paints and ourselves are working together to make improvements and developments to some aspects of our school environment.
Starting on Wednesday 14th June, Uniplay (a playground markings company) will be on site to remove some of the current playground markings and lay some newly designed markings that we are sure your children will enjoy using. As a result, the playground will be out of use from Wednesday 14th June until Friday 23rd June. This means that the morning and afternoon routines will change for this short period.
In the morning, children should come straight into school. Please can the children in Class 3 to Class 6 enter through their fire doors, the children in Class 1, Class 1-2 and Class 2 should enter through the Pupil Entrance and the children from EYFS should enter through the Main School Entrance. This is similar to the arrangements for a wet morning start apart from Early Years who will enter through the Main School Entrance. Parents will not be able to walk across the playground.
At the end of the day, the children in Class 3 to Class 6 will exit through their Fire doors, the children in Class 1, Class 1-2 and Class 2 will exit through the Main School Entrance, and the children from EYFS will exit through the Pupil Entrance. Please approach the designated door and a member of staff will ensure your child leaves safely. Again, please do not walk across the playground, but follow the designated route straight up towards the main office.
Thank you in advance for your support, cooperation and patience and we look forward to seeing the finished result. Please can you pass this message to anyone who will be bringing or collecting your children.
Kind Regards,
Clare Moulding
