Sun Safety12 June 2023 (by clare.moulding) |
Good evening,
In light of the forecast for high temperatures this week and particularly tomorrow, could I please ask that pupils bring a hat to school so that they can cover their heads during time outside at breaktime, lunchtime or during outdoor PE. Could I please also request that suncream is applied before the pupils come to school. As I shared in a message prior to the Spring Bank holiday - it is not appropriate for pupils to bring suncream into school themselves for health and safety reasons.
The vast majority of pupils have a water bottle that they bring into school each day - it is essential during this hot weather that water bottles are in school so that the pupils can remain hydrated throughout the day.
Thank you for your anticipated support in ensuring the health and safety of our pupils.
Kind regards
Clare Moulding
