Superhero Science and Wonderdome experience tomorrow13 June 2023 (by clare.moulding) |
SUPERHERO SCIENCE WEEK:
A polite reminder that this week is Superhero Science Week in school. All children from Nursery-Y6 are participating in scientific investigations linked to a superhero and we will be crowning a Superhero Scientist Award for each year group in assembly on Friday - lots of amazing super scientist prizes to be won!
Tomorrow all children will visit the Science Wonder Dome which will be based in the school hall and we will be having a superhero picnic lunch (school dinners will be served as normal). If we feel the weather is too hot to be outside all lunch, we will eat in classrooms and then go outside. All children are invited to come to school in Superhero fancy dress/t-shirt tomorrow but this is not compulsory - if they are not coming as a superhero (NOT football kits or non-uniform!) they should be in school uniform.
Please can all parents ensure the £2 contribution for each child towards the event has been made via ParentPay - thank you for your support with this, enabling us to have the special event for pupils.
We are really looking forward to experiencing the Wonderdome tomorrow and hearing about the Science investigations on Friday.
Kind regards
Mrs Clare Moulding
