PE Uniform at St Patrick's14 July 2023 (by clare.moulding) |
Good afternoon,
At St Patrick's we have very high expectations of all pupils with regard to all aspects of school life - learning application, behaviour, attitude which includes how we present ourselves. We are, as I am sure you know, very proud of our pupils. However, it has become very noticeable that the standards of dress for PE are not reaching the expected standards at our school, for all pupils. Can I please remind all parents that how our pupils present themselves - giving ourselves and our school the very best image to each other and visitors who come to our school, is very important.
It is essential that ALL pupils follow the school uniform expectations - including on PE days.
Our PE uniform is GREEN PE SHORTS, WHITE PE T-SHIRT and a SCHOOL JUMPER. When the weather is particularly cold the pupils can wear PLAIN black tracksuit bottoms or FULL LENGTH PLAIN black leggings with NO SPORTS LOGOS only. Girls CANNOT wear short black cycling shorts.
We have seen an increasing number girls, in different year groups, arriving in very short black cycling shorts which are highly inappropriate for school and not part of the PE uniform at St Patrick's.
Could I please ask parents to ensure their child/ren are following the full uniform expectations at all times, including their PE uniform. Girls should be wearing the green PE shorts please.
Thank you for your anticipated support in this matter.
Kind regards
Clare Moulding
