Good morning,
A polite reminder:
Could I politely request that all pupils have a responsible adult with them at all times whilst waiting for the school bell. We very nearly had an incident yesterday and I would like to ensure we are doing everything possible to ensure we keep all our pupils safe. No pupils should be exiting the car and waiting by the school gate without an adult with them maintaining their safety. I have asked the staff to ensure the leader of each class line in the playground from next week is the pupil who was awarded the star of the week, followed by the two merit award winners to stop the rush to be first in the line.
When the gate opens at 8:45am (it is on a timer) pupils should be accompanied on to the playground by a responsible adult who must stay on site, ensuring their child is behaving safely and appropriately.
It is important that we all work together to ensure pupils are safe before we start the school day.
