Vigilance with Emails2 October 2024 (by Emily Gott (emily.gott)) |
Good afternoon,
We have been made aware of an email that has been sent impersonating a member of staff at St Patrick's today to some parents within our school community. The email requests parents to click a Teams link to join a parent consultation. This email has come from a Hotmail account NOT a St Patrick's affiliated account. If you have received this email, please do not click any links. Please be extra vigilant when opening and receiving emails.
Please be reassured that we are aware and have the ICT team looking into the origins of the email further.
Thank you for your continued support and if you feel you may have been affected by this, please email the office at office@stpatricksbirstall.co.uk
Kind regards,
Miss Gott
