School will remain CLOSED today with home learning8 January 2025 (by clare.moulding) |
Good morning,
Following an on site health and safety assessment, St Patrick's will remain closed today due to the dangerously snowy and icy conditions around school. The access paths and roads leading to school remain treacherous and not safe for cars or pedestrians and therefore it is NOT safe to travel to school. The hard work completed by Mr Parry on the school site yesterday, creating a pathway to the main entrance is now covered with black ice and unsafe. An additional factor is the weather forecast showing that temperatures will remain below zero and so no opportunity for a thaw later in the morning.
As a result of the closure there will be home learning tasks sent across the Class Dojo or Tapestry at around 9:15amthis morning. Please stay safe and I will provide further updates about tomorrow.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this most challenging time.
Kind regards
Clare Moulding
