St Patrick's Catholic Primary Academy

Good afternoon

Tomorrows KS2 Cross Country Finals at Leeds Road Playing Field is on.

Just a polite reminder to each of our 39 runners:

All children will be transported to the event by coach.  Parents can attend the event however we have been encouraged to ask parents to car share where possible as parking is limited.

The children’s races will be as follows:

YEAR 3 GIRLS Start 1.00 Approx.

YEAR 3 BOYS Start 1.12 Approx.

YEAR 4 GIRLS Start 1.24 Approx.

YEAR 4 BOYS Start 1.36 Approx.

YEAR 5 GIRLS Start 1.48 Approx.

YEAR 5 BOYS Start 2.00 Approx.

YEAR 6 GIRLS Start 2.12 Approx.

YEAR 6 BOYS Start 2.24 Approx.

Children will need to bring a packed lunch and a drink. All children will eat their dinner in the school hall at 11:25am. They should come to school ready in their sports kit with a raincoat and a warm jumper, especially as there will be long waiting times in between races. Forecast tomorrow is light drizzle so please ensure you bring a raincoat.  There will not be space indoors for runners to wait.

All children returning on the coach are expected to arrive back at school at 3:50pm (estimated time of arrival depending upon traffic).

After each race, parents who wish to collect their child must meet us at our holding area (behind the rope) and wait until staff dismiss them safely.  Staff are aware of which children are due to be collected from Leeds Road but please be patient when waiting for your child.

Parents are not allowed to cross onto the running fields and collect their child from the finish line - please wait until Mrs Abbott brings all the children back to the waiting area.  Thank you for your support with this.

Good luck to all our runners!
