Preparing ourselves for Easter during Lent28 February 2025 (by clare.moulding) |
Good afternoon,
As we approach the start of the very special season of Lent, I wanted to make you aware that we have arranged for Father Eamonn to come into school on Thursday 7th March (next week) to offer our pupils in Year 4, 5 and 6, along with staff, the opportunity to go to confession. Through going to confession, we are starting Lent by gaining forgiveness for the things that have moved us away from God and this gives us the opportunity try and be the very best versions of ourselves and thus become closer to God.
I have been around Class 4HM, Class 5FA and Class 6KW today to make them aware of our focus on forgiveness and starting afresh as we begin Lent.
Kind regards
Clare Moulding
