St Patrick's Catholic Primary Academy

Good afternoon,

We have been notified by the Local Authority that there is a yellow heat health alert is in effect from 12PM on 18/06/2025 until 6PM on 22/06/2025 across Yorkshire and The Humber. This comes with a low impact warning.

As the warmer weather approaches this week, please ensure your child comes to school with a sunhat and a water bottle where possible. Children will be reminded to wear their hats before going outside at playtimes. You may also wish to apply sun cream to your child before school, as staff are unable to apply it during the school day.

Thank you for your continued support,

Miss Gott
