'Be Bright, Be Seen' Non-uniform day - Friday 3rd October26 September 2025 (by Emily Gott (emily.gott)) |
Good morning,
On Friday 3rd October, we will be holding a “Be Bright, Be Seen” non-uniform day as part of our road safety awareness campaign this half term. On this day, children are invited to wear brightly coloured clothes and bring a £1 donation into school, which will help us to fund new road safety signs outside our school.
We are very grateful to all the children who have contributed their creative ideas by designing slogans for the signs. Next week, our newly elected School Council members will have the exciting job of choosing the six winning slogans, which will soon be proudly displayed on our new road safety signs outside of school.
We also look forward to welcoming the Education Kirklees Road Safety Team into school on Friday 17th October to lead workshops and assemblies to our classes to support all children about staying safe when crossing the road.
Kind regards,
Miss Gott
