Parking safely outside school20 January 2026 (by clare.moulding) |
Dear Parents and Carers,
Following contact from a concerned parent this morning, I am kindly asking you to please re-double your efforts in road safety issues in the immediate vicinity of our school.
As St Patrick’s is part of the local community and we wish to be good neighbours to our residents alongside ensuring safety for all our pupils and families, I urge you to maintain your vigilance in parking legally and safely. This morning we had cars parking on the yellow zig zag lines outside of school. This makes it increasingly dangerous for families to cross the road and enter the school grounds.
I have been made aware that due to illegal parking on the zigzags last night, there was very nearly an accident.
Thank you for your continued understanding and support in ensuring safety for all our community.
Kind regards
Mrs Clare Moulding
