Good morning,

We are looking forward to our Sports Day events this week and hope you can join us to cheer on the children!

Sports Day Dates and Times

• EYFS (Reception and Nursery): Thursday 18th June at 9:30am
• KS1: Friday 19th June at 9:30am
• KS2: Friday 19th June at 1:30pm

Parents and grandparents are warmly invited to attend. Please make your way to the school field and spectate from behind the designated boundaries, which will be clearly marked out.

What to Wear

• Children in Reception, KS1 and KS2 should come to school wearing their full PE kit and trainers.
• A hat and water bottle are strongly recommended.
• If the weather is warm and sunny, please ensure your child has suitable sun protection applied before school.
• Please make sure that all clothing and equipment are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
• Nursery children should wear suitable active clothing and footwear.

KS1 and KS2 Opening Ceremony
KS1 and KS2 Sports Days will begin with an opening ceremony and parade. We would love to hear plenty of cheers and encouragement to help motivate the children before the events begin!

Please feel like you can follow your child around the perimeter of the field – please note that parents will be unable to walk alongside the javelin on the right hand side of the field.

Following the individual sprint race, children will be invited to the podium, so please have your cameras ready for a special photo opportunity.

Sports Day Raffle
At each Sports Day event, we will be holding a raffle to raise funds for much-needed PE equipment. Tickets will be available at £1 per strip and the final draw will take place after the KS2 Sports Day event.
